I’m a married gal making her home in Denver, Colorado.

I have a wonderful hubby, and 2 monkeys (crazy rescue puppies) that live with us!

Below are precious pups that have passed thru our lives and left a paw print on our hearts!

    Hi Nicole,

I saw the profile description on Metroblogs and on your website and I too enjoy time with my luvable furry little ones.

Hey, I’ve been reading your posts and since I do PR for a local auto repair/maintenance business I thought I’d run this past you…wish it were a doggie business but its cars.

In any case, this is a cool business and I’d love to have you visit it in Littleton…we’d even be able to treat you to an oil change or another car service.

    Here’s more:

Steve Spahn owns and operates the Honest-1 Auto Care on West Bowles in Littleton. He’s been an entrepreneur his whole professional life in the area—you may have heard of the Tree Farm that his family owns—he ran a landscaping business and also owned a few Valvoline Instant Oil Change shops in the past.

Now at 57, Steve is an example of someone who has invested his time and money in Denver for several decades and is now starting a business that he thinks is addressing a true need in the market.

He launched Honest-1 Auto Care in 2008 and over the past year has made significant investments in his business to create a unique customer experience…all in an effort to make women feel more comfortable with the car repair/maintenance experience…which is ofthen riddled with deceit.

Steve has created a car repair and maintenance business that completely caters to women. From the welcoming reception and waiting area to the clean repair area and the cute kids zone, everything is geared towards making women comfortable, including the non-aggressive approach employees take with the customers.

Steve’s business is the dawn of a new era in car service. With Honest-1 he’s able to live up to the name better than he could with his past businesses.

Among other things Steve’s business does to make a difference in the community, is a tree planting program and the use of environmentally safe car fluids.

The community response to the initiatives Steve has introduced at his business has been extremely positive…so much so that he’ll be opening a few additional locations in the area over the next couple years.

Steve also volunteers his time as a teacher at his Church in the community.

Let me know if you’d like to visit the shop and talk with Steve.

    All the best,
