I was a little under the weather this weekend so Phillip and I imprinted our booties on the couch for most of it!
We watched A LOT of TV and Movies:
Jumper – pretty good but weird random mom cameos that hopefully will make more sense if there are sequels
The Guardian – tear jerker, but a good movie
The Bank Job – kinda like snatch as in it took a bit to get a hang of the accent. Interesting from the historical approach, but not enough tie in with the “black power” portion.
I found a new cook book making website and re-created my 100 page novella into this new software. I love it and I can’t wait to print it out and see how it looks. I still love the kinkos/fed ex plug in, but this book is in color, with a spiral bound that allows for additional pages to be added and is cheaper than the other way. Holy guacamole – yeah!!! It is called Taste Book and I just wish it had been around or I had known about it in July!
We cooked a bit – well I cooked and anything that hit the floor phillip ate!
I found a cool new crock pot recipe for cherry cobbler… Mmmmm! I'll post later.
Did a bit of stocking shopping for hubby. He’s got this thing where it needs to be mini present not just random toiletries, so it takes time, money and creativity to fill it up! I’ve got some good ideas and purchases this year!
By Sunday night I was able to move again, so I went to candle light yoga and felt fabulous after! Ahhhh…. Join me next time?
My neighbors also brought me chocolate covered apples for helping out with their dogs this weekend. OMG was this this amazing! I forwent dinner and ate the whole dang thing!
Pretty low key restful weekend, wish I could have gotten done all that I had intended to get done…. How was yours?
