Two Rivers - Chateau Deux Fleures - Syrah 2005

We just picked this on at random at the store. It was a colorado wine, so we figured support out state!

Was a bit too dry and strong for us. Not an offensive amount of tannons, but not something we would buy again!

Creekside Cellars - Reisling

Found this while dining at Cool River. We were intrigued by the name and the fact that it was a local Colorado Vinyard!

We enjoyed it quite a bit and would definintely buy it on our own!  Maybe hit a tasting and try the other offerings!

 L'ECole No 41 - Merlot - 2003

Our favorite Merlot!

We discovered this gem at a wine tasting last year. We call it the Crayon House Wine.

We as usual prefer it chilled!

Penfolds Koonunga Hill - Shiraz Cabernet 2004

Another from our blind taste test January 2007

  • Jen – NO! No.
  • Dave – whatever
  • Bob – flat nose, taste
  • Judy -  ok, too strong
  • Hubby – no comments
  • Me – too many tannons

Final Verdict - no.

Tusk’ N Red  - Red Wine - 2003

  • Jen – ok
  • Dave – whatever
  • Bob - not nice nose, lots of tannins
  • Judy -  dry red ick
  • Hubby - puckery
  • Me - strong, tannins, not bad after taste

Final verdict - even though it has an elephant on the label...  Not worth a second purchase.

Fish Eye - Cabernet Sauvignon - 2004

Another from out blind taste test - Jan 2007

  • Jen - less strong
  • Dave - nothing, blah
  • Bob - no comment
  • Judy - for a red, smooth, nice berry smell
  • Hubby - light
  • Me - no tannins, smooth, not to exciting, not terrible
Final verdict - wouldn't buy it again.

Fleur - Petite Sirah

Another from our blind taste test at Judy and Bobs

  • Jen - Strong
  • Dave - semi-flat, slight okay, slight sweet hint at first
  • Bob - almost a little watery
  • Judy - strong, after taste
  • Hubby - not too tanniny, tastey, no pucker
  • Me - not too many tannins nice on the tongue hits head fast
Final verdict, probably not a repeat purchase.

Schlink Haus Ausleshe Nahe

This was one of our wines at our blind taste test.

  • Jen - liked the sweetness,
  • Dave - apricot flavor, sweet, but not too sweet
  • Bob - no comment, they b uy it all the time!,
  • Judy - I like it, sweet,
  • John - sweet
  • Me - sweet

This would be something we would buy again.

Rocky Mountain Vinyards - Road Kill Red

Yet another from our blind taste test - January 2007

Semi-sweet Colorado Red Table Wine

We had this at a blind taste test. EVeryone brought 2 bottles under $12.

This one won! We brought it simply cause of the name!

We both enjoyed this one, nice flavor, not tannony.

 Woop Woop

Product of South Eastern Australia.

Drank over 2 days. Was as good the second day as the first. Not too many tannons, great on the tonge.

Colombia Winery - Gewerztraminer

From Colorado!

Unfortunately I found the taste to be just so-so. It was pleasant enough on the tough but it didn't stay with you and make you want more.
